Larry Lowder

Waynesville, Larry Michael "Mike" Lowder, 74, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.

A native of Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Jack and Mary Spann Lowder. Mike enjoyed woodworking, watching football, especially the Florida Gators. He was a Boy Scout leader and he enjoyed his grandchildren. Mike was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church of Waynesville.

Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gwendolyn Brooks Lowder; twin sons, Tim Lowder (Iris) and Tom Lowder (Chrisann); two daughters, Teri Theodore (Trey) and Angela Spicocchi; one sister, Lynda Dobson (Jon); special friend, Paula Lowder; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
