Larry Lee Brown, 81, peacefully passed away on October 3, 2023 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was born in California to his loving parents, Carl and Nettie Devore Brown.

Family and friends will celebrate Larry's life with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens located at 1750 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Jody Brown. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. Larry's passing leaves behind a void that will be felt deeply by all.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by two daughters named Theresa Wigley and Brenda West. He was proud of their accomplishments and valued the close bond they shared. Larry found great joy in being a father and leaves behind a legacy of love and guidance.

Larry also leaves behind two sisters, Clydine and Fredia, as well as one brother named Gary. Family meant everything to Larry, and he cherished the strong connections he had with his siblings. Their support and companionship brought him much happiness throughout his life.

Larry's memory will be cherished by several grandchildren who loved him dearly. Their lives were enriched by his presence and the wisdom he imparted upon them.

Larry was known for his dedication to hard work and his commitment to excellence. He approached every task with unwavering integrity and a strong work ethic.  He was the founder of BTL engineering in Florida. Throughout his professional journey, Larry earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

In leisure time, Larry was a good standing member of the Shriners. He was also a cherished member of the Masonic Rights Lodge 192 and of the 32nd Scottish Rite and was a member of the Egypt Shine Temple of Tampa.

Larry Lee Brown will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, a cherished sibling, and a beloved grandfather. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the lasting impact he made on those around him. Let us celebrate Larry's life, remembering the joy he brought into our lives and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

The care of Mr. Brown has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
