Larry Beck

Larry Stephen Beck, age 58, died Friday, December 22, 2006, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Columbus, Ohio and was the son of the late Homer and Mittie Rizer Beck. He was an Army veteran, having served in Vietnam, and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Larry was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. He had a passion for automobiles and animals. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kathy Beck; a step-daughter, Jennifer Harvey and her husband, Gregory, of Waynesville; a step-son, John M. Dickson and his wife, Amy, of Bonduel, WI; and 5 grandchildren, Brian, Gregory, Anthony, Christian and Dalton. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at a later date.
