Marshall

Marshall, Kimberly Nicole Knotts, age 43, otherwise know as Kim or Big Red, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her home.

Kimberly was preceded in death by our beautiful mother, Lorraine Knotts.  She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved at the young age of 11 to the beautiful mountains of Madison County, North Carolina.  Kimberly graduated from A-B Tech in 2007 with her associates degree in Veterinary Medical Technology.  She was a wildlife rehabilitator, which was fitting because of her passion for rescuing and taking care of animals.  Kimberly was also a mommy to her fur baby, Tucker.  She loved to draw, paint and write beautiful poems and short stories.  Kimberly also loved to read, sing, and dance.  She was the best dancer out of all of us girls.  She loved camping, gathering with friends and family, and sitting around bonfires.  Kimberly also loved all types of music and going to concerts.  She was extremely loving and had such a big and caring heart for her family and friends (her best friend being Lou).  Needless to say, she was an incredibly special, talented, sweet and loving individual.  There are so many special, irreplaceable memories of our baby sis that we will cherish forever.  Kim you are loved and will deeply missed.  You are finally at peace and just know you will forever be our May flower.  We love you, and you will always remain in our hearts.

Kim is survived by her father, Ronald, Knotts; two sisters, Dawn Eilers (Joe) and Heather Fabian (Wayne); nephews, whom she loved dearly, Kenton Eilers, Devon Eilers (Christina) and Elijah Penland.

The care of Ms. Knotts has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
