Kim Hoglen

On October 5, 2022 at 7:40 a.m., we said our heavenly goodbyes to Kim Hoglen as she transitioned to be with God. If you knew Kim, you knew of her boisterous and infectious laugh, her fiery spirit, and tenacious attitude to always be the fighter that she was. And that’s exactly what she did, she fought to the very last moment. Kim, whose heart was so large that you couldn’t help but fall in love with her, had this way about her that you knew that she loved big and hard. Though she is no longer with us in physical form, her legacy will be continued by her two daughters, Shelley (Jerkwan) and Samantha, as well as her three grandchildren, Tahj, Cedric, and Jordyn. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara, her three brothers and three sisters, as well as many other family members.

This is not a goodbye but more of a “I’ll see you later Kim.”

—-We will be celebrating her life and amazing spirit at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Wells Chapel of Faith, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC with Reverend John Holbrook officiating. So please join us in love and comfort and prayer. And know that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The care of Ms. Hoglen has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
