Kevin Edwards
Canton-Kevin Dewayne Edwards, 41, of 12 Castle Terrace died Thursday, November 6, 2003 at Mission St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was a native of Haywood County and a former resident of Hampton, TN and the son of Charlene Grooms Carver of Canton and Marion Edwards of Hazelwood. He was an avid fisherman and loved football and baseball.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his fiancé, Robbie Garrett of Canton, a son, Nicholas Dewayne Edwards of Canton, a sister, Jeannie Edwards Martinez of Asheville and a brother Chuck Edwards and his wife Teresa of Flat Rock.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9th in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with the Reverends Stacey Woods and Gene Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
