Kenneth F. Martin, 89, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of New York, he is the son of the late Charles and Mary Fraser Martin. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Martin and a daughter, Krista Ullom. Ken lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and friends.

A proud veteran, Ken served in the United States Marine Corps exemplifying the bravery and sacrifice he valued so deeply. His experiences shaped him into a man of principle, grounded in the values of service and integrity. He started his career in New York where he worked in the Mortgage Department in banks in New York and New Jersey.

Ken gave his life to Christ in 1984 in Florida, where he was later baptized and married to Verona in May 1984. He continued to serve the Lord faithfully. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with Verona. He attended The Orchard Church of Waynesville.

Ken will be sorely missed by his beloved wife of 42 years, Verona Martin; a daughter, Lori; a son, Kenneth Martin (Lorraine); son-in-law, Lance Ullom; and seven grandchildren, Dakota, Alexandra, Alannah, Amanda, McKenzie, McKayla, and Mallory.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
