Kay Corzine

Canton – Nancy Kay Duckworth Corzine, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mable Williams Duckworth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Duckworth; sister-in-law, Nancy Silver Duckworth; and a son-in-law, Jeff West.  Kay was a member of Faith Community Church and was employed with Haywood County School System for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bruce Corzine; a daughter Karen West Stanley (Dan), of Canton; two sons, Wayne Edward Corzine (Terri) , of Rice, Minnesota and Brett Alan Corzine (Stacy) , of Canton; one brother Jack Duckworth of Canton and Florida; one sister-in-law, Sue Duckworth of Canton; ten grandchildren, Adrianne West, Nicole Revis, Mac Stanley, Jake Stanley, Lynn Forner, Dakota Corzine, Aubree Corzine, Hadley Corzine, Madisyn Brown and Hunter Brown; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Matt Pruett officiating.  Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
