Kathleen A. Naillon

Kathleen A. Naillon, 82, of Haywood County, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Haywood Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. A native of New jersey, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Edna Mae Ahlquist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Chan, Kenneth, and Scott Naillon and sisters, Barbara, Mary Lou, and Jackie.

Kathleen was a member of Crabtree United Methodist Church and was active in her Sunday School class. She enjoyed reading her Bible, crossword puzzles, talking with friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Her family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed by her children, Shari (Scott) Thomas, Mack (Tina) Naillon, Kathleen (Mike) Hall, and Mary Lou Cunningham; grandchildren, Levi, Megan, Christopher, Jacob, Zachary, Lucas, Jillian, Benjamin, Andrew, and Brandon; brother, Bill Ahlquist, and several great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Wells Funeral Home, Waynesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crabtree UMC.  Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville is honored to Serve the Naillon Family during this time.
