Kathleen Cole

Kathleen Parham "Penny" Cole age 71, passed away on Wednesday, Janua4ry 13, 2016 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Northern and Nellie Parham. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Jones. She was formerly employed by Andrex Textiles, and was a member of Community Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, David Cole and his wife, Sharon of Leicester; three brothers, Billy (Ruby), Tommy (Shirley), and Jimmy (Brenda) Parham all of Leicester. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dean Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Cole Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 1501, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
