June Wilson

Jessie June Ivester Wilson, age 82, formerly of Canton died on Thursday, September 29, 2011, in Hamilton County, TN. A native and resident of Haywood County until 2009, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Daisy Cairnes Ivester. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wilson, who died in 1998. She worked at Canton Savings & Loan for more than 40 years and was Vice-President and Treasurer when she retired. June was a member of North Canton Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Bruce Wilson and his wife, Donna, of Hixson, TN; and two grandchildren, Joshua Wilson and his fiancée, Carla Sandler of Nashville, TN and Mark Wilson and his wife, Caroline, of Hixson, TN. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. T. David Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Canton Baptist Church, 735 North Canton Road, Canton, NC 28716.
