Juanita Trantham

Clyde-Juanita Trantham, age 71, of 113 Mountain View Street, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the Brian Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Georgia Duckett Trantham and the late Clyde Trantham who died in 1991. She was owner/operator of Kiddieland Daycares of Clyde and Canton and was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Greg Buckner, and wife, Donna; a sister, Judith T. Johnson; a brother, Wayne Trantham and wife, Fran; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Buckner, all of Clyde. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Horn and Reverend Garry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
