Joseph Yarbrough

Waynesville, Joseph Wesley "Wes" Yarbrough, age 52, of Allens Creek Road, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at MedWest Haywood. A native of Citrus County, Florida, he was a life-long resident of Haywood County. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mona Faye Fender Yarbrough and was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Yarbrough Phillips. Wes enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Donna Shuler Yarbrough; one son, Nathan Yarbrough (Desiree) of Canton; a stepdaughter, Sabrina Ledbetter (Tré) of Waynesville; two stepsons, Chris Smith (Laurel) of Clyde and Scott Smith and his fiancée, Summer, of Canton; two brothers, Paul Yarbrough of Kingsport, Tennessee and Scott Yarbrough and his fiancée, Jenna Fulton, of Waynesville; eleven grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
