John Seward

John Thomas Seward, 84, of Hendersonville, was promoted on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. John loved and honored his country, serving in both the US Navy and Air Force. He was always there to help anyone who needed it.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Bristow Seward; first wife, Sandra Joyce McHarge Seward; siblings, Gladys and Robert Leroy Seward, and grandson, Joshua Trull.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Koon Seward; children, Cathy Gilley, Melanie Patterson, Diane Blackburn, Mitch Seward, and Jane Treece; siblings Ernest Seward and MaryAnn Woodson; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 13th at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. Family visitation will be from 1 - 2pm.
