John Garland

John David Garland, 54, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Stone Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Marshall Cabe and Juanita Jaynes Garland. He is survived by one daughter, Selena Rogers and her husband, David, of Lake Junaluska; three brothers, Wayne Garland and his wife, Sandra, of Bryson City, Terry Garland and his wife, Dianne, of Canton, and Howell Garland of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Leah and Shane Rogers; and four nephews, Brandon, Ashley, Chris, and Brian Garland. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Jack Jaynes officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
