Waynesville, John Mack Allison, age 77, died on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Jake Queen Alllison and Kathleen McCracken Allison. He was a US Navy veteran and enjoyed reading and watching sports. He is survived by a cousin, Bud Noland and his wife, Lucille, of Waynesville. No services are planned.
