Joann York

"In Loving Memory" Canton – JoAnn Sharpe York, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Dumont and Jessie Miller Sharpe. JoAnn was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Karen York Best; a son, Keith Price (Susan) both of Canton; two grandchildren, Luke Williams and Kevin Price and one great-grandchild, Whitney Ann Fox. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Canton First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of arrangements.
