Joan Schrenk

Waynesville, Joan Emily Schrenk, age 86, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at her home.

A native of Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Schrenk and Francis Logan Schrenk.  Joan received her bachelor’s degree in education from Montreat College and a master’s degree in education from University of Texas.  She was an elder at First Presbyterian Church, she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Crafters.  Joan enjoyed crafts, classical Christian music, flower gardening and she loved her pets.

Joan is survived by a brother, John Schrenk, and his wife, Mary, of Waynesville; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
