Joan Rymer

Canton – Joan Trull Rymer, 87, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at her residence.

Joan was a daughter of the late Thomas Gordon and Lucille Reed Trull.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Gordon Trull, Jr. (Buster); a grandson, Lt. Col. Shane Dale Willis, who died in 2013 and a great-granddaughter, Shayla Garland.  Joan was a member of Canton First Baptist Church and retired from Champion International.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Ann Stamey, Cynthia Jo Rymer and Donna Lee Rymer, all of Canton; one sister, Janette Morgan of Decatur, Alabama; three nephews; two grandchildren, Sherri Garland (Larry) and Terry Amos, Jr.;  one granddaughter-in-law, Tanja Willis; five great-grandchildren, Calem and Kailee Garland, Bryce Amos, Kyla and Colin Willis.

Considering the current public health situation, a private burial will be held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
