Jo Ann Fox, 92 yrs old, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2026, surrounded by family and cherished friends.

Born in Lexington KY on December 14, 1933, to Jeanette and Arthur Woodruff. She graduated from Henry Clay HS, Lexington, KY and attended The University of Kentucky. Her desire was to be an "at home mom" and fully devoted her time to her husband Ed and their 2 children.

After retiring to the Lake Junaluska community, she volunteered for many groups at The Assembly as well as teaching marriage enrichment classes. She was a devout Christian who relied on her abundant faith in her daily life. Her love for music started in elementary school and she found peace in "old hymns" and scripture.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James "Ed" Fox, and their children Karen Dale Fox and Daryl Arthur Fox.

Jo Ann will be privately inurned in the Columbarium at Lake Junaluska.
