Jimmie Gambrell

Waynesville-Jimmie Green Gambrell, age 86, of 360 Old Balsam Road, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at Autumn Care Nursing Home.

She was born in Soso, Mississippi and was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Stewart Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gambrell, who died in 1964.

She is survived by a son, John Gambrell, of Maggie Valley; a daughter, LaVerne Moseley, of St. Cloud, Florida; a brother, Algie Green, of Lumberton, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Brent Moseley, Bryan Moseley and Randy Gambrell; and three great grandchildren, Jeffery Moseley, Bradley Moseley and Erin Elizabeth Moseley.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi.

Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville is in charge of local arrangements.
