Jerry Bartle

Waynesville, Gerald Robert "Jerry" Bartle, age 69, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 after a 4-year battle with dementia.

He was born November 5, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Robert and Virginia Bartle.  Jerry was in Automotive Collison Repair for 48 years, retiring from Harry’s on The Hill in 2018.  Jerry enjoyed cruising the mountains in his 1956 Studebaker truck street rod that he built himself.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Pam Gibbons Bartle; his son and best friend, Jerry Bartle II of Waynesville; sister, Jane (Michael) Sojka of Mt. Shasta, CA; half-sister, Mary Jo (Reno) Adams of Brevard, NC; stepmother, Betty Bartle, of Okeechobee, FL; brother- in-law, Steve (Marilyn) Gibbons of Fitzgerald, GA.; sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Crawford of Fitzgerald, GA; and a large family of beloved nieces and nephews.
