Jennifer “Jen” Stephens, 45, of Candler went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 27, 2021 in Winston-Salem.
A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Freddie Wesley Rumbough and Sherrie Leigh Little Rumbough of Candler. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Laura “Big Mama” Bryson and Carolyn Brigman as well as her grandfathers.
Having a passion for music and producing, Jen touched many people with her talents of “singing and piano playing” at several events.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, Ed Stephens; daughter, Laurena Faith Stephens; aunts, Kim Lee (David), Melissa Brock, Fran Little, and Bobbie Rumbough; uncles, Nick Little, Jody Little (Sherry), and Ben Brock. She was also survived and loved by numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home, 3715 Asheville Highway, Canton. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Keith Watkins will officiate.
Jen’s family would like to express the importance of organ donor awareness and the life-saving significance of this gift.
