Clyde - Jennifer Chandler Herrera, 40, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home.

She was a native of Kissimmee, Florida and the daughter of Harry Justice of Sylva and the late June Moore Justice. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Wayne and Ruth Moore. Jennifer was employed with Beverly Hanks & Associates as a residential broker associate. She also served as Director of Enrollment Management for Haywood Community College for 19 years. In addition Jennifer served on numerous committees and boards throughout her community.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Shannon Herrera of Clyde; a stepdaughter, Taylor Farrington of Canton; sister, Alicia Maney of Sylva; brother, Michael Justice of Dillsboro; sister-in-law, Stephanie Kalimah of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Layla Kalimah, Alexis Huskey, and Mattie Maney; nephews, Seth Kalimah, Cale Justice and Zac Maney as well as loving companions of the home "Jax" and "Cali".

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend John Swanger and Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
