Jeffrey Penley

Jeffrey Carroll Penley, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 following heart surgery.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of Dorothy Holcombe Penley of Candler and the late William Carroll Penley.

Jeffrey graduated from Enka High School in 1978 and attended AB Tech.  Prior to his retirement, he had been employed with Volvo and Blue Ridge Metals.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Joel Penley and Nicholas Penley; a daughter, Teresa Justice; granddaughters, Kadence Penley and Amylia Penley; grandson, Damien Justice; sisters, Sharon Gee and Melissa Self.

No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

The care of Mr. Penley has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
