Jarrett Howell

Canton – Jarrett Lee Howell, age 78, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Paul and Rebecca Little Howell. Jarrett retired from Champion International and later worked at Walmart. He was a Christian and loved the Bible, as well as farming, fishing and the outdoors. Jarrett is survived by three daughters, Jill Howell-Shook of Waynesville, Diane Howell O'Diear of Greenville, SC, and Trudy Howell Reece of Canton; two sons, Randy and Kirby Howell, of Canton; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Sunny Point Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend J. B. Heatherly officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
