Janette Parker

Clyde - Janette Sanford Parker, age 82, of Thompson Cove died Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late, W. C. and Bertha Mae Thompson Sanford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Parker who died in 1975.

She retired from Henson's Florist in Waynesville.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Hill and her husband, Eddie of Clyde; five sisters, Ruth Henson of Canton, Peggy Gotlibowski and Reba Coleman of Fairview, Shirlee Swanson of VA and Brenda Roberts of TN; two brothers Paul Sanford of Canton and Russell Sanford of SC; two grandchildren, Chad Greene and Scarlett Evans and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28th at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend G. W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her daughter, 243 Thompson Cove Road, Clyde.
