James "Mike" Beasley

Waynesville – James Michael (Mike) Beasley, beloved son, father, and grandfather passed away on April 25, 2022, at his home in Waynesville, NC.

Mike was a native of Haywood County and a son to Josephine Presnell Beasley and the late Malcom Lee Beasley.  In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Della Rebecca Beasley.

Mike was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, craftsman, and father. He loved frequenting the local trout waters, building acoustic guitars, and sharing his passions with his sons.

In addition to his mother, Josephine "Jo", Mike is survived by his three sons; Chance Van Noppen and his wife, Abby, of Raleigh, Michael Beasley, of Waynesville, and Fulton Beasley, and his wife, Lauren, of Raleigh; three brothers, Tim Beasley, and his wife, Jan, Phillip Beasley, and his wife, Linda, and Malcom Beasley; and three grandchildren.

The care of Mr. Beasley has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
