James Willhite

Waynesville- James "Jimmy" Willhite, 49, of C.E. Smathers Drive, beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away on Friday, April 28, 2006 at his home following a prolonged illness. A native of Lucas County, Ohio, and a resident of Haywood County for the last six years; he was the son of the late James and Paulette Barbier Willhite. He had an Associate Degree in Nursing and was employed by Broward General Hospital. He was of the Catholic Faith, enjoyed gourmet cooking, history and trains. He is survived by his three sisters, Jocelyne Hill and her husband, Charles, Nancy Ferguson and her Husband, Terry both of Waynesville and Suzanne Phillips of FL; one brother, Larry Willhite of West Palm Beach, FL; two nieces, Angela Hill and Brittany Willhite; two nephews, Robert Bowling and Kyle Willhite; two grand-nieces, Carly and Lacey Hill; two grand-nephews, Christopher Hill and Anthony Finney, and was blessed with a multitude of friends A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday May 1, 2006 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Waynesville. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services in Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
