James Priest

Waynesville-James W. Priest, age 39, of 790 Oakdale Road, died February 20, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Irving, New York, he was the son of the late Barbara Pritchard Priest. He was a computer draftsman and was employed by Peco, Inc. He enjoyed fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, golf, baseball, and auto racing. He was a member of Ninevah Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, James Wayne Priest, Sr. and stepmother, Roxanne, of Troy, MI; his wife of eight years, Monica Priest; a daughter, Paige Elizabeth Priest, of the home; a sister, Kimberly Priest, of Buffalo, NY; and a brother, David Priest, of Troy, MI. A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date. Memorials may be made to Ninevah Baptist Church Building Fund, 931 Country Club Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786.
