James Mckigney

Clyde-James Edward McKigney, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Molly McGinnis McKigney. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Romanowski and a brother, William McKigney. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. James and his wife, Margaret, both loved the game of golf. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Margaret McKigney; two daughters, Myra Jean Vroble and her husband, Raymond, of Copper Center, AK and Beverely Ann Westjohn and her husband, David, of Mason, MI; a son, James Bates of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Donald McKigney and his wife, Patricia, of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. His family and friends will miss his great sense of humor. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hospice location of one's choice.
