James Jackson

James Pat Jackson, 91, of Asheville passed away on Friday, March 18th at the Asheville Health Care Center. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Oswald and Margaret Hall Jackson. James owned his own floor covering business.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Elizabeth McCann Jackson (2001), they were married in March of 1937.
James is survived by his sons, Bobby E. Jackson, Alabama, Danny P. (Brenda) Jackson of Asheville, Ronnie (Diane) Jackson of Old Fort, Norman E. (Rita) Jackson of York, SC and Paul Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Mary E. Mullinax of Asheville; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 21st at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler. His grandson, Chaplain Darin Jackson will officiate.
