Jackie Clark

Clyde-Jackie Sue Clark, age 60, of 66 Morgan Street, died Thursday, April 08, 2004 at her residence.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lula Kirkpatrick Ferguson. She was a graduate of Blanton Business College, and for 30 years, she owned and operated Jackie Clark's Small Daycare. She was a member of East Waynesville Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe Clark; three daughters, Cindy Stowers, and her husband, Hal, of Clyde, Joy Garland and her husband, Greg, of Canton, and Melanie Clark of Asheville; a son, Danny Clark, of Clyde; one sister, Joan Mehaffey, of Clemson, SC; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend Chris Westmoreland officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services.
