Clyde

Clyde – Imogene Rogers, 57, of Clyde passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 following her battle with cancer.

Imogene was a native of Murphy, North Carolina.

She was employed with Haywood Community College for 24 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Arts and General Education Department.  She was a member of Clyde First Baptist Church.  Imogene loved gardening, Friday classic movie nights with her daughters, and listening to her favorite music.

Imogene is survived by her parents, Kynne and Cloe Crowe of Brevard; her spirit lives on through her husband of 36 years, James M. “Jimmy” Rogers, of Clyde; two daughters, Jessie Ruth Rogers, of Canton and Bethanie Rogers of Haywood County; four sisters, Cheryl Beavers, Agatha Mason, Abbie Maddox, and Linda Rivenbark; and eight brothers, Steve, Lonnie, Gary, Chris, Michael, Darryl, Randy, and Johnny Beavers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private services are being held and a Celebration of Life gathering will be announced in the forth coming weeks.
