Ila Campbell

Sylva - Ila Sutton Campbell, 85, formerly of Canton, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Hermitage Assisted Living.

A native of Cocke County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Eva Barnes Sutton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Campbell, who died in 1995; one sister, Wanda Campbell; and three brothers, Ruble, Robert and Tom Sutton. Ila was a member of Burnett Siding Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Wilma Moore of Tennessee and Lena Roberts of Leicester; three brothers, Lawrence Sutton and wife, Lucille, of Leicester, Kyle Sutton and wife, Margaret, of Canton, and Henry Sutton and wife, Wilma, of Leicester; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Ray and Evelyn Chambers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
