Hulin Case

Canton- Hulin Leroy "Casey" Case age 92 of the Dutch Cove Community died Wednesday. July 20, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Hendersonville but had lived in Haywood County most of his life. He was the son of the late Carl L. and Rosa Stepp Case and the husband of Grace Ramsey Case . He was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Henson; twin grandsons and one sister, Mildred Lindsey. Mr. Case was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church and he retired from Champion International Papers. He also loved NASCAR and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by a son, James S. Treadway and his wife Ruth of Canton; two sisters, Dorothy Allison of Waynesville and Sue Smith and her husband Edward of Clyde; one special granddaughter, Linda Frady and her husband John of Canton and seven other grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and one special nephew, Dane Smith. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Ed Lowder and Reverend Tracy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike and Keith Treadway, Jesse Driver, Alex Smith, Dane Smith and Terry Trull. At other times the family will be at the residence of Linda Frady, 566 Bunny Run Road, Canton.
