Howard Hartman Ray, 90, of Arden, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Universal Health Care, Fletcher.
Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Lois Curall; daughter and son-in-law, Nellie and Wayne McCarthy; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 13th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 270 Overlook Road, Asheville with Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. To honor Howard's wishes, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church for home missions.
