Herschel Hill

Canton-Herschel Hill, age 67 died Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

He was raised in Haywood County and was a son of Mack and Pauline Warren Hill of Canton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Hill. He retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1975 after 20 years of service. During his tenure, he served 2 tours in Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four daughters; Anita Pantoja of West Covina, CA, Medori Hill of Tacoma, WA, Caroline Force of San Antonio, TX and Helen Hill of Lakewood, WA, one son; Jay Hill of Farmington Hills, MI and 7 grandchildren.

Private services will be held.
