Henry Dendy

Canton, Henry Ervin Dendy, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Aston Park Health Care Center.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Mae Henry Dendy.  He retired in 1996 from Haywood Regional Medical Center as an X-ray technologist and was a United States Army veteran.  Henry’s interests included woodworking and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Davis Dendy; two sisters, JoAnn Elmore and Mozelle Edwards both of Highlands; two grandsons, Henry Davis Dendy of Waynesville and Sean Paul Dendy (Nathalie) of Clyde; and three great grandchildren, Tanner, Kennedy and Shannon.

Private services will be held at a later date.
