Helen "Ruth" Rouser

Waynesville, Helen Ruth Rouser, 81 went to her heavenly home May 6, 2019.

Helen was born in Satolah, Georgia to the late Rev. Frank and Maude Reed and grew up in Highlands and Waynesville.  She received her degree in X-Ray Technology at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.  She worked many years at The Bone and Joint Clinic in Asheville.

After meeting the love of her life, Gene Rouser, the two of them formed a business together known as The Insurance Center of Waynesville.  They complimented each other and enjoyed life together.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; sisters, Gerrie Boswell and Jessie Little; brothers, Gilbert and Clinton Reed.

Helen is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Wood (Kelvin), several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home.
