Helen Folsom

Sylva, NC, Helen Grace Peigler Folsom, age 85, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Harris Regional Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Commodore Thomas and Leila Coon Peigler. At the age of 50, Helen earned her degree in Sociology from Greenville Technical College. She is survived by two sisters, Ann Peigler Jones of Sarasota, FL and Amy Peigler Gibbs of Sylva, NC and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the gathering.
