Hazel Hines

Canton – Hazel Lois Hines, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her residence.

A native of Princess Ann County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Edgar McCoy and Dessie Lois Jackson Hines.  Hazel formerly lived in Greenville, South Carolina but had resided in Haywood County for the past 2 ½ years.  She retired from the United States Postal Service with 15 years of service.

She is survived by one sister, Julia Hines Cogburn and husband, Jack, of Canton; an uncle and aunt, Don and Margaret Jackson of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and several cousins.

At Hazel’s request, no services are planned.
