Hazel Burnett

Hazel Davis Burnett, 69, of Arden went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from Memorial Mission Hospital.  A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Robert and Daisy Wilson Davis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Paul Burnett in 2015, a son, Charles Paul Burnett, Jr. and a brother, Robert Davis.

Hazel enjoyed reading her bible, sewing, solving crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Nicole Bethea (Daryle), Amber Marler (Marshall) and Amanda, Corbin Burnett and Chase Burnett all of Arden; sisters, Evelyn Griffin of Candler and Lucille Wilson of Fletcher and twins, Geraldine Perry of Waynesville and Charlene Ballard of Barnardsville; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

The care of Mrs. Burnett has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Candler/
