Waynesville, NC, Melbourne, FL, Harriett Anne Weidler Cothern, 89, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation.
A native of Lake Worth, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Evelyn Bennett. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hudson Cothern, who died in 2005.
Harriett is survived by two daughters, Nancy Stevens, of Waynesville and Linda Wildes, of Melbourne; a grandson, Jason James Lilley, and his wife, Chaylene; and two great-grandsons, Nathaniel and Matthew Lilley.
No local services are planned.
The care of Mrs. Cothern has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
