Glenna Henderson

"1937 – 2016" Canton – Glenna Mull Henderson, age 78, of Crossroad Hill Road, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Medford Mull. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Henderson, who died in 2008; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Ada Putnam. She was employed for 36 years at Haywood Regional Medical Center in the food service. Glenna served her community as a cook at the old Pennsylvania Avenue Elementary School and was a former employee of American Enka. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Heisler and her husband, Randy, of Waynesville, and Dorothy Henderson of Canton; two sons, James Henderson, Jr. and his wife, Darla, and Gary Henderson and his wife, Donna, all of Canton; one sister, Martha Rackley of Lexington; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby and Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
