Gladys Kirkpatrick

Waynesville, Gladys McClure Kirkpatrick, age 91, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Haywood House.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Fuller A. and Nora Fortner McClure.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kirkpatrick, who died in 2007; a sister, Ima Allison; and five brothers, Ulyss, Don, Verlin, Kemuel and Sam McClure.  Gladys was employed by Wellco Corporation and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Gladys is survived by two sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Frances McClure.

Due to COVID-19 a private burial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery.

The care of Mrs. Kirkpatrick has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
