Geraldine Henson

Geraldine O'Neil Henson, age 74, of the Cruso community, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Ann Hooper O'Neil. Geraldine was a member of East Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy W. Henson; one daughter, Jerri Ann Warren of Canton; two sons, Steve Henson and his wife, Sheri, and Greg Henson all of Canton; one sister, Joann James of Hendersonville; seven grandchildren, Blaine, Cheyenne, and Taylor Henson, Cody Fouts, Josh Owen, Taylor and Anna Warren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at New Cruso Cemetery with the Reverend Greg Cullen officiating. Friends may visit the family at their home.
