Geraldine Hensley

Geraldine Hensley, 70, of Candler went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Mission Hospital following a period of declining health.  A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Don and Pansy Rice Hensley.

Geraldine “Nan” loved her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hensley; two daughters, Brenda Phillips and her husband, Mark and Angie Stines and her husband, Michael; one son, Michael “Mike” Hensley and his wife, Ashley; five grandchildren, Leisley, Cole, Kayleigh, Brynlee and Zander and one great-granddaughter, Ava.

A graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The care of Mrs. Hensley has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
