Genevieve Trull

Canton – Genevieve Haney Trull, 95, passed away on Tuesday, January 01, 2019.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Claudia Christopher Haney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Trull.  Genevieve, “God’s Handmaid”, led the Living Church of Jesus Christ in Cruso for over 50 years.  She was a marvelous cook and a woman who loved gardening and working in her flowers.

She is survived by a sister, Nora Bell “Doc” McCoy; several nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Living Church of Jesus Christ in Cruso with Mary Lee Paxton officiating.  Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
