Gary Justice

Clyde, Gary Lynn Justice, age 60, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation.

A native of Haywood County, he was a son of Ernest Justice and Mary Magdaline Haney Justice.

Gary was a hard worker and interacting with others at his employment brought him a lot of laughs.  He proudly served as a bus driver with Haywood County School System for 30 years and found it very gratifying to be part of aiding a child’s educational path.  He also worked at Walmart for 15 years.  Gary was all about enjoying his surroundings and keeping busy as shown by his interest in camping, fishing, and driving for Folkmoot.

Gary is survived by his three siblings; sister, June Milner (Barry); brothers, Charles Justice (Linda) and James Justice; several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Captain Kevin Justice and Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow at Crabtree Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
